Biography / Artist Statement

This year’s contributions to the AOTLE are transformational landscapes presented in oils. I continue with impressionistic knife work, that I have used for several years. My goal is for each stroke to contribute to a minimal harmonious composition that draws viewers into the realm of interpretation. My color palette lends a richness to the composition featuring deep blues, vibrant greens, and subtle purples that create a striking visual impact The selection of paintings chosen for the AOTLE 2026 are perfect for collectors seeking unique contemporary pieces.

My paintings can frequently be found at regional art galleries and juried art exhibitions on the South Plains and in the Panhandle.
